The Moody Biblical Institute and the Association for Hispanic Theological Education signed a collaboration agreement for the theological formation of leaders of the Hispanic-Latino/a community.
This joint collaboration has the central purpose of opening a range of opportunities in theological education for the Hispanic-Latino community.
Last June the Moody Bible Institute and the Association for Hispanic Theological Education (AETH), signed a Memorandum of Understanding to help expand opportunities for, as well as to advance the quality of the theological formation of Hispanic-Latino/a leaders in their service to local churches and their communities.
Together, both institutions will work on the development of programs and activities of common interest to benefit current and new generations of Hispanic-Latino/a leaders currently studying in Bible Institutes. Highlights of this partnership will include:
- Accepting graduates of AETH’s certified Bible Institutes into Moody Theological Seminary, provided applicants meet other administrative requirements outlined in Moody’s admissions process
- Allowing the transferring of undergraduate level credits from an AETH-certified Bible Institute to Moody Bible Institute
- Select faculty members will be made available to offer courses to AETH students who have also been admitted to Moody Bible Institute and Moody Theological Seminary via HyFlex modalities
- Select faculty will collaborate with AETH professionals in research related to fields of mutual interest
This agreement opens up critical opportunities in the expansion and outreach of formal theological education, equipping Christian leadership to be agents of change as ambassadors for Christ, in the local Church and in society.
