TOWARDS A NEW REFORMATION IN THE 21ST CENTURY: THEOLOGICAL EDUCATION AND THEOLOGY OF EDUCATION

Based on his knowledge of the ministerial formation throughout the history of the church, Dr. González will discuss the need of a new reformation in theological education for the 21st century and its implications for Hispanic theological education.

DR. JUSTO L. GONZÁLEZ

Worldwide recognized by his career as prolific author, researcher, mentor and Professor of church history. Today, as a retired professor and minister of the Methodist church, he devotes his time to research, writing and promoting Latino theological education.

WEAVING WITH LOOSE TREADS: THEOLOGICAL EDUCATION, CHURCH AND COMMUNITY  

She will be sharing about the need to connect the loose ends between theological education, the church and the community for the growth of the Hispanic/Latino/a community and its impact in society.

Dra. Elizabeth Conde-Frazier

DR. ELIZABETH CONDE-FRAZIER

Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Conde-Frazier is the author of multiple publications, with an extensive experience in education, she has proven her commitment to Hispanic theological education. Currently she is the Vice President of Education and Dean of Esperanza College.

THE FUTURES OF ATS ACCREDITATION: INNOVATION, QUALITY ASSURANCE, AND EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT

He will share about how ATS sees the future for innovation, quality assurance and educational improvement in all the ATS associated entities, and he will share about the challenges and opportunities for Hispanic theological education.

Dr. Lester Ruiz is Senior Director of Accreditation and Institutional Evaluation of the Commission on Accreditation of the Association of Theological School (ATS).
